Plywood Tracking: David Judaken's East

New, 4 comments

When news that David Judaken decided to turn his planned nightclub Heir (former Garden of Eden) into something called My House, with a whole new concept and design, we wondered if he decided to switch gears with East on Hollywood Boulevard, as well. After all, he just discussed both in April, plenty enough time to change his mind on another place. But according to this new Plywood, it looks like East is still on track. As the name suggests, it's east-leaning, as in Chinese family-style dishes with Japanese and Thai influences. And, yes, it's just a few doors from Geisha House and across the street from The Kress. Tentative deadline was late-July to early August, so a debut could right around the corner.
