Ad Age has a little Q&A time with Emeril Lagasse, the "Bam!" man, the brand. He has 10 restaurants but Emeril is more than a chef anymore, he's a spokesperson. On pushing products: "But for me it's not only about selling the product; it's really about believing in what it's all about...[With Crest], I've used the product, I've been using it for years, so it's easy for me." On being green: "I was using them when people didn't know what organic was or how to spell organic, especially for my restaurants. It's no stretch for me at all because I've been in that environment for so long." On being Emeril: "What people don't realize about Emeril..." is that he likes to talk about himself in the third person. [Ad Age via Grub Street]
