Last night was not the night for a little sushi and shabu shabu at Koji's in Hollywood. The LAT is reporting that staffers from a "sushi restaurant" in Hollywood & Highland (has to be Koji's) found a customer's jacket with a gun in it and called police. When the guy, and ex-con, returned for his jacket, he was arrested and then allegedly told police that he had more weapons in his car. So the bomb squad had to come in, close the parking structure to investigate, leaving everyone and anyone stranded in the Fifth Circle of Hell, aka H&H. But what fun: No bomb devices or other weapons were found. [LAT; photo]
