Plywood Tracking: The New Table 8

Here we have the new Table 8 soon to be reopening in the former Chocolat space on Melrose. The old Table 8 is now the new 8 oz. Burger Bar, a gleaming New York-style space that opened last month. After an odd foray into the Thomas Schoos-designed space we affectionately called a "goth coffee shop," the new Table 8 will be going back to its simple design and clean lines, looking quintessentially more Californian, more like Govind Armstrong's cooking, with a huge patio to boot. Supposedly opening "later this summer," but that would be, like, right now, so we're probably looking at more late September, early October.
