Vitello's-to-go, by LAist

SHERMAN OAKS: Studio City Italian institution Vitello's has opened their second location, Vitello's Express, on this side of the Valley. According to LAist, they have old standards from Studio City, plus new items; think sandwiches, pastas, pizzas. Starting today at 9am they are also serving breakfast, which means breakfast pizza. MID-CITY: La Brea Plywood Mystery solved! Owned by the same people as Little Bar next door, coffee shop Massimo's Mudspot opened yesterday morning with cupcakes and cookies baked in-house, unique iced teas, and a full espresso bar with a "custom blend" of beans. An enthusiastic Yelper tipped us to interiors of vintage bike memorabilia, thanks to a fixed-gear biker/manager, who personally guaranteed us over the phone that everything is "extra bad ass." ECHO PARK: A wee bit more information on wine bar City Sip, which had a friends and family event this past weekend. Opening night is next week and stay tuned for their wine classes, named things like The Rain in Spain and Que, Syrah, Syrah to start ramping up soon in the new space. (2150 W.
