First Street Vendors, Now Street Markets

The weekly Indonesian food market at the Duarte Inn, Pondok Kaki Lima, was shut down last week, and the houses of the vendors were raided. "The rumor is that they were singled out not because of complaints from neighbors or the city, but due to complaints from someone who didn't like the competition."
