Looks like the taco truck vendors won this round. Today a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge overturned the ordinance that made it a misdemeanor to park a taco truck in one spot for more than an hour. Judge Dennis A. Aichroth said the language of the ordinance was "vague" and therefor "unconsititutional." The attorney who won the case on behalf of a vendor thinks the county will try to rewrite the law, but until then: Taco trucks are free to stay in front of any restaurant in East LA as long as they want. Taco Libre! [LAT; previously]
