AIA/LA Looking for Restaurant Design Award Nominees

The call for submissions is officially wide open for this year's Restaurant Design Awards, sponsored by the Los Angeles chapter of the American Institute of Architects. But before you and this year's judges (Joachim Splichal, Los Angeles magazine's Margot Dougherty, architect David Montalba and designer Michael Hodgson) can pick the winners, AIA/LA needs nominees. Any restaurant, club/lounge or cafe/bar that was completed in the last four years is eligible, but the project must be located in Los Angeles or the the designer/firm must be located here. Comme Ca? Citrus at Social? The Kress? Goa? Akasha? (And more Eater Inside to consider.) Judging---jury and people's choice---begins in September and the winners will be announced in October. Last year Tanzore and Red Seven got the judges vote, and Edison won people's choice.
