LA's own Evan Kleiman, chef/owner of Angeli Caffe, host of KCRW's "Good Food," and female chef pioneer in her own right, interviews today's up and coming women chefs making headway in a still pretty male-dominated world. While there aren't any local chefs featured (other than Kleiman), there are some nuggets from the group such as having Alain Ducasse call their food "feminine," which was a good thing (NYC's Allison Vines-Rushing); thanking all the hazers (Vail's Kelly Liken); and loving brined pork shin (North Carolina's Ashley Christensen).
