Downtownizen Bryan Higgins recently snapped some pics of the post-plywooded Bottega Louie for Angelenic. Look at all that gleaming white marble for the floors (just like the rendering), big windows along the sidewalk; there's been a lot of progress since March. Located in the ground floor of the Brockman Building on the corner of 7th and Grand, the gourmet market, 220-seat Italian restaurant, patisserie and cafe was supposed to open this summer, but now they're shooting for fall, probably October. Plausible, no?
