Someone visiting the Bluebird Cafe in Culver City got a bonus in his tuna melt and accompanying salad...and a server with little patience for someone who doesn't appreciate just how organic their greens are. "When it arrived we were startled to see a cricket come hopping out...It was huge, several inches long! We immediately called a waitress over and told her what happened, showing her the cricket on the table. She proceeded to pick the cricket up and throw it on the ground, and then went back to work as usual." The diner complained to another server who took away the sandwich and brought a free cupcake, the only way to sate a post-grasshopper lunch. [Consumerist]
