Coincidentally, both the Food Network and Chowhound quietly launched new website designs at approximately the same time. In both overhauls, updating the color palette---FN lost the signature green, while Chowhound nixed the overwhelming red that caused so much controversy last year---seems to be the biggest move, though the legions of fanatical users will surely notice the more subtle changes involved (and then complain about them).
