Wine Bar Wire: Piecing Together Pourtal

We love when all the pieces of a puzzle come together: First we heard a rumor that a new wine bar was opening in the former gift shop next to Robata Bar and across from Bar Pintxo on Santa Monica Boulevard, but we didn't have specific info. Then we learned that a wine bar called Pourtal was planned somewhere near Ocean Avenue Seafood, which checked out according to the permits and license filed. Today we get a picture of Pourtal signage in the former gift shop on SMB. Circle complete. What we know abut Pourtal so far: Enomatic tasting system, food, wines and outdoor seating are planned. So many places to taste wine/beer and snack on one block!
