Someone will have to come clean sooner or later: Angelenic is reporting that chef Ben Ford and Emily Beretta have inked a deal to bring a new restaurant concept to the Rowan Lofts at 5th and Spring, but the official word from Ford's camp is that papers have not been signed yet. They are indeed looking to do something downtown, they say they haven't decided where, and whether it will be an outpost of Culver City's Ford's Filling Station is yet to be seen. Story developing.
