Molly's on Vine, Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD—Via the tipline, we get word of very dangerous times for Molly's, the quirky and iconic—i.e. dirty, potentially poisonous, potentially satisfyingly greasy—burger stand in Hollywood since 1929. It is slated to be torn down to make way for an eight-story office building at the end of February. Per a Community Redevelopment Agency notice:

The development of the project site includes the demolition of a street level parking lot and two existing structures: flower shot/locksmith and hamburger stand, and the construction of an eight-story office building with approximately 100,386 square feet of office space.
The Environmental Impact Report is available for public review and comment now through February 27, 2009 (more info here). This ain't Irv's, so speak now or—well, you know how it goes.
