Sure, they had home court advantage, but it's still impressive to see three barisatas from Silver Lake coffee mecca Intelligentsia snag the top three spots in this past weekend's Western Regional Barista Competition, leaving baristas from Cafe Luxxe, Lamill, Redrock, Ritual, Groundworks and the like in the dust. While the trio moves on to compete in the United States Barista Championship, running March 5-8 in Portland, we move on to our third espresso of the day.
