Neighborhood blogger Atwater Village Newbie reports via a reader tip: "Do you know anything about this new joint that seems to have literally overnight replaced the Tommy's Char-broiled Burger place in Atwater Village (I believe 3324 Glendale Blvd.)? The signage says Sepan Chicken." Adds AVN, "Hmm, there's Sepan Banquet Hall up the block at 3404 Glendale Blvd. Any relation?" A call to the venue this morning confirms the change, but not the connection, though it seems to stand to reason. Regardless, RIP Tommy's. [AVN]
