Bocuse d'Or RESULTS: Team USA Places 6th

Lyon, France: In a rather disappointing finish, the US team headed up by French Laundry Chef Tim Hollingsworth placed sixth in this year's culinary olympics, the Bocuse d'Or. While organizers made a big push for the competition in America this year—even getting Thomas Keller and Daniel Boulud aboard—in the hopes of getting us to host in the future, our team didn't stack up to the competition. Norway, Sweden, and France finished first, second, and third.

In the past 11 contests since 1987, the best the US has done was coming in 6th in '05. Respect to Hollingsworth and commi Adina Guest for at least matching our personal best.
