WEST HOLLYWOOD—When last we checked in a few weeks back with Tony's, the new new casual steakhouse concept from Tony Riviera and the Primo Hospitality Group, set to open in the ex-Crudo space on the Sunset Strip, we reported an opening date of February 6. Now, Zagat Buzz offers the first peek of the interior (above), which indicates the place will suffer no shortage of candles. [Zagat Buzz]

SANTA MONICA—Emails an Eater reader, "Is La Grande Orange ever going to open on Main Street in Santa Monica?? it seems like it's been under construction forever and it would be nice to have it in the neighborhood!" Checking in with the folks at LGO Hospitality, we're told early April is the plan. [EaterWire]

CULVER CITY—When we last espied Le Saint Amour—Bruno and Florence Herve-Commereuc's new brasserie—in September, a fall opening seemed plausible. Flash forward to 2009, friends, as Food GPS says they're now eyeing a late-February open. [Food GPS]

DOWNTOWN— The D-Town Burger Bar, which we first heard word of back in September, is thisclose to opening on the ground floor of the Hayward Hotel (at Sixth/Spring), reports Angelenic. Says the owner, "It may be another two to three weeks, maybe a little less or a little longer until we can open." So let's say mid-February, shall we? [Angelenic]
