Fresh Fraiche Signage Up, Ludo Confirms Culver City Resto, Changes At The Roosevelt

New, 6 comments

SANTA MONICA— Check it out. The Riva/Fraiche saga continues. The above photo shows Riva's new Fraiche signage in addition to some papered up windows, so there is definitely something brewing on the inside too. An exterior sign states that the eatery will reopen on Oct 14, just as predicted. [EaterWire]

CULVER CITY— This weekend at J.Gold's Union Station Cocktail Party, Chef Ludo plus wifey were in the house and confirmed to an Eater operative that a second LudoBites operation will sprout in December. However, this new spot will most probably be another pop-up, not a permanent space just yet. [EaterWire]

HOLLYWOOD— Over at the Roosevelt Hotel discussion of a new restaurant plus separate bar are in the works. Management is thinking about morphing Dakota into a new restaurant and opening a separate gaming room with its own bar (and 1930s-style bowling alley, think wooden pins etc.) above Library Bar. Mixologist Matt Biancaniello has been asked to consult on a seasonal cocktail menu for the new bar. [EaterWire]
