House Cafe, Market Bar, MORE

Welcome back to the Plywood Report, your ongoing chronicle of the next generation of restaurants and bars to hit LA. Spot some fresh ply on your block? You know the drill.

1) Larchmont: An Eater operative stumbled upon a new unnamed coffee/tea shop moving into 107 Larchmont Blvd. clad with a full on San Franciscan coffee roaster. Intense. The shop, Larchmont Bungalow, will serve pastries, and judging from the photos, the space looks pretty large with several rooms perhaps to accommodate diners. Construction appears almost complete, will share more updates as they come in. [PLYWOOD]

2) Mid-City: The uber delayed House Cafe, which was originally projected to open in August, is still a work in progress. Glance above to see some minor exterior changes from the original photo taken a few months back. [PLYWOOD]

3) Downtown: According to Daily Dish, the Pacific Electric building (6th/Main) may add a Mediterranean restaurant/market/wine shop called Market Bar to its current slew of bars/eateries. No complaints here. Grab a bite at Market Bar then head to Varnish for drinks. That works. [DD]

4) Downtown: We've also stumbled upon record of a new club thing moving into a space on Figueroa near the Staples Center. The venue includes alcoholic bevys, a dance hall, and a penny arcade. Tips on this welcome in comments. [PLYWOOD]
