Status: Opens TodayJust to spread the word, today brings the official opening of Philippe in the old Dolce space. Pictures are up, but here are some thoughts on what to eat. Open for both lunch and dinner, some signature dishes include Peking duck, kung pao chicken with spicy peanut sauce, chicken satay skewers in cream sauce, and hand-pulled noodles in pork or veal bean sauce. Or, come for drinks and plop atop a red stool for the Shanghai Philippe (elderflower, muddled fresh strawberries, Stoli strawberry, and champagne) or another self-titled concoction, Philippe Passion (Absolut peach, Grey Goose pear, mango puree, lemon juice, soda, cranberry). It's not Library Bar, but muddling action does exist. Anyway, the five other Philippe locations should give you a taste of what to expect here.
