Status: Open todayReplacing the old Wholesome Pita spot comes T Salon, opened by Miriam Novalle a former perfume maker who was dubbed "Tea Guru" by the New York Times (even though that was back in, uh, 2000) for her uncanny ability to sniff out great tea blends. Miriam opened her first tea bar seventeen years ago in NYC and now brings the fully sustainable tea bar, market, and cafe concept here to LA. Open today, T Salon offers over 250 loose leaf teas, teapots, and accessories. All food served is organic farm to table style, including vegan and non-vegan baked goods plus a vast array of hot and cold teas. A liquor license is in the works too. Cool factor (literally): The cafe serves 20 iced teas on tap daily.
