Here comes Stout, a new rustic wood and brick-bedecked beer joint and restaurant from newcomers Alex Kagianaris and Charles Lew. Spacecraft designer Kris Keith conceived the above pictured sparse style that includes sliding doors for almost al fresco dining, a large circular wooden bar with hammered copper beer wall, flat screen tvs, comfy booths and one of those repurposed glass bottle chandelier situations. Clearly the bar is the focal point of the space and on tap will be thirty plus craft beers from around the world including The Duchess, Dale’s Pale Ale, Fuller's London Porter, and Allagash Curieux. Just to whet your palate. In the food department, think more interesting burgers. There's a veggie option made from quinoa; a burger with Brie, caramelized onions, bacon, and balsamic vinegar; a spicy burger with pepper jack cheese, grilled avocado and chipotle sauce; a chicken patty blended made from white and dark meat, lemon grass, sour cream, and sharp cheddar, plus a few others. Stout is slated to debut Nov 8 and will (yes!) offer late night eats until 4AM. —Yolanda Evans
