Vardo

Status: Soft opened SaturdayThis past weekend Vardo Cafe soft opened on Main Street, two months after the original projected debut date. Right now the small Middle Eastern-themed eatery is offering Groundwork coffee, tea, acai bowls, house-made raw ice cream, smoothies, and warm chewy baklava straight from the oven, but in a week or so the full menu of healthy eats will launch. The restaurant, which has fewer than 10 tables inside and about 5 tables outside, will serve strictly vegetarian fare with some raw options sprinkled in for good measure. More to come once the full menu is available.
