The Village Voice reports that Conde Nast has given all Gourmet employees 48 hours to pack up and get out! Many staffers have been around for the long haul, 30+ years, and even those have received the immediate boot. Apparently the shutter was a shock to most, including editor in chief Ruth Reichl who heard the startling news, like most, yesterday morning, according to the LA Times.
