The Tasting Kitchen Takes Two Stars

New, 3 comments

After AK abruptly shuttered back in June, The Tasting Kitchen immediately moved in with a new chef, new menu and completely different concept. In her original review SIV handed out 2.5 stars to AK and now its new incarnation has lost 1/2 a star, earning two stars for its food which she describes as "lusty and delicious." SIV is into the menu that changes daily, and digs the restaurant's bread and butter, but what she loves is the chicken wings "glazed with apple cider...sticky and delicious," and pretty much everything else she samples. Actually, there is no real food criticism here other than the desserts not being up to snuff. She has commentary on the noise level of the restaurant (too loud), but again, where is the food commentary that shows why the restaurant earned two stars? [LAT]
