Savor the Season, Gold on Rosa Mexicano, Intelli Moves North

New, 5 comments

WEHO— This weekend on Oct 11 Savor the Season brings a prime opportunity to samples tastes from newer eateries like Marche and Stefan's at LA Farm. Other oldies (but not really that old) include RH, Reservoir, Cafe Wa s and Water Grill with the requisite vino, but view the whole shebang here. Hey, at least it's cheaper than Jonathan Gold's Union Station Cocktail Party. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN— Last week Jonathan Gold dropped by the new Rosa Mexicano in LA Live finding it overall decent enough. However, he did find room to say, "Its presence in the complex is not just an insult to L.A. but a taxpayer-subsidized insult to L.A." [LAW]

SAN FRAN— Now that Intelligentsia's second LA location is squared away, Doug Zell is taking his seasonal coffee up north. Eater SF shares the dirt on an Intelligentsia coffee bar that will reside inside Specialty's. [ESF]
