Santos Uy and Danny Kronfli, owners of Bacaro, are working on a new downtown project called Mignon at 6th & Main, next to BluCafe, Cole’s/Varnish, and The Association. Mignon will feature a central island bar where they’ll serve wines by the glass, similar to Bacaro but with a focus on French wines complimented by cheese plates, charcuterie, and light appetizers. Mignon is licensed to be open ‘til midnight with plans for even later hours down the line. Inspections are underway and the opening is scheduled for this winter. [EaterWire] —DD
