I just wanted to let you know about how frustrating Bouchon has been in the past 3 weeks.

Since they started taking reservations, I have set reminders in my calendar to book one month in advance at 10 AM on the day I want to attend. Since I can only go on a Friday or Saturday night, I only get one shot a week at trying to get a reservation. My first time trying, the phone rang and rang and then would drop me. I tried for 30 minutes until I finally got through and was told they only have 5PM or 10PM...yeah right.

My second time, I called again for 20 minutes and encountered the same issue. They said they would have it resolved by the next week. I asked about booking online and they said that opentable wasn't working.

Today, I called for the third time. I got through at 10:03AM, 3 minutes after bookings opened. They told me they only had a 5PM or a 10PM available. I asked how in the world that was possible with 3 minutes of time elapsed. They said that people had booked up all of the spots on OpenTable. I told them how I was told the week before that it wasn't working.

They were rude and had no idea what to say or how to fix the situation. As great as it may be, my experience with that restaurant is already very negative. I work in a field that makes reservations all the time, and sends clients to restaurants constantly. You can bet I won't send a single one there. Nor will I ever refer it to anyone.
