Exclusive: Larchmont Bungalow Faces the Music

New, 11 comments

For continued violations of its occupancy permit—its only licensed to be a "take-out" restaurant)—the city has issued the owners of Hancock Park newcomer Larchmont Bungalow a "Notice of Intent to Revoke Permit." The letter, dated 11/2/09, states in part that "The plans approved by the LADBS did not indicate any indoor or outdoor seating" and that "no seating for dining is allowed." Alrighty then.

So whether victims of a NIMBY witch hunt in overly zealous Hancock Park or not, Larchmont Bungalow is very clearly in violation of their permit. The owners have until tomorrow to come into compliance or else they will be shut down. Check out the complaint in full below as a downloadable PDF.
