Vesuvio Joins The Food Truck Fleet

New, 6 comments

Hm, don't think there is an Italian truck just yet, is there? That's about to change with addition of Vesuvio, a new mobile food vendor specializing in Southern Italian fare clearly named after the ginormous volcano Mount Vesuvius located near Naples. After months of pondering the project with his father, Matt Giangrande's vision has come to fruition and will soft launch within the next couple of weeks with a full-on debut in the new year. As for eats, dishes are based on Southern Italian fare made by Matt's grandmother like arancini stuffed with smoked mozzarella plus a slew of subs. Until then, twitterize them here. [EaterWire]
