MID-CITY— Daily Dish reports that The Foundry's chef/owner Eric Greenspan is in the process of acquiring a next door space to house his next venture, Greenspan’s Grilled Cheese. Along with that grilled cheese Greenspan also plans to serve "old-school seltzer drinks such as lime rickeys and chocolate egg creams, plus latkes, tater tots and a variety of soups." [DD]

LOS FELIZ— Seems like everything is back under control over at El Cid. After a water pipe burst, thousands of gallons of water flooded nearby streets even filling cars. Yikes. [KABC via GS]

BEVERLY HILLS— Leave it up to The Bazaar to come up with a 20-course tasting menu. The soiree takes place January 14 and includes nitro caipirinha, José's ham & cheese, kampachi "nigiri" and tournedos Rossini among clearly many, many more dishes. The entire evening is hosted in the restaurant's private dining room, Saam, for a mere $95. [EaterWire]
