So much hype lately surrounding Bastide, its new chef, the revamp, and the bookstore. Finally, news just in, Assouline West opened today but stay tuned because Bastide is following closely behind with its own launch tomorrow. The space is as expected with fun flourishes, bright colors, some text along the walls, definitely Andy Warhol-influenced especially those dangling Campbell soup cans up above. To recap, Joseph Mahon is now running the kitchen with a more casual bistro menu. Update: now with many more hot interior shots!
