Xooro has been off the map since the inauguration of it's West Hollywood location which is apparently doing quite well, or well enough not to shutter. On a side note, the owner may change Xooro's business model to go after mall spaces but that's not set in stone. Anyway, it seems that the original Santa Monica spot isn't up to snuff. The space is too large and expensive, and thus is not generating enough revenue. Through the grapevine comes word that the owner is considering switching the concept to a Spanish bistro and reopening the space with a friend who owns nightclubs in Mexico. More to come. [EaterWire]
