Well, that was quick, wasn't it? Just four months into their flashy Los Angeles endeavor, Michael Mina/SBE has already pulled the plug on that whole ”social dining" experiment that was the oh-so-curious 35-item tasting menu concept at XIV. In its place is what most people like to call a "normal” menu consisting of appetizers and entrees, rife with the type of dishes upon which Mina made his name elsewhere.
