1) Mid-City: Courtesy of Blackburn and Sweetzer, we have an update from Cuvee, the upcoming Spanish wine bar on La Brea just off Third. Not much has changed since we took a look at it back in September, but there is a liquor license notice up. [B+S]

2) Hollywood: A tipster passes along intel from a spot check at Susan Feniger's solo project on on Highland between Melrose and Santa Monica by the name of Street. The "global street food" concept has been in the works for some time, but according to sources (and storefront signage), the aim remains sometime in February. [~ELA~]

3) Venice: Everyone's been chomping at the bit regarding the status of Intelligentsia Venice, and this week, Food GPS shares all kinds of juicy plywood goodness in a tour of the Abbot Kinney sequel. We'll refer you that way for the full status report, but we will note that the new ETA is early March and decaf might get the boot. [Food GPS]
