Miss Irene is very pleased that her '80s fave John Sedlar is back and better than ever at Rivera: "At this casual, Latin-themed restaurant, Sedlar is sending out small plates calibrated to get even the most jaded foodie excited ... I doubt very much that anybody could resist the 'dog's nose' salsa either, with its deep, mysterious flavors." Which spurs the question: is there a more useless food description than calling something full of mysterious flavors? [LAT]
