Vegas Dispatch: First Food & Bar, By Sam Demarco

Las Vegas: Set to open on the Strip sometime in spring 2009 is the latest project from Sam Demarco, to be called First Food & Bar. The 10,000 square-foot space—pictured above, in its rendered form—will be within the friendly confines of the Shoppes at the Palazzo. The project takes the name of Demarco's first First, which he opened in New York in the early '90s, and as is the trend these days, it will aim to bring a casual "neighborhood concept" to the Strip (all-day dining, late nights, burgers, etc). See, even Vegas is hopping on the downscale bandwagon.
