Miguel Medina, owner of lesser-known Korean taco purveyor La Taquiza swears he heard about Kogi "while he was crafting his own version of the Korean taco," and sure enough, he's got some fightin' words for Kogi: “In the process of making my tacos, I went three times to try their Korean tacos. All three times I was disappointed because I had wanted them to be authentic. They don’t use kimchee; it’s a cabbage mixture. There wasn’t a clean distinction between steak, chicken and pork because they cook everything on the same grill. And the red sauce was actually Siracha sauce." Oh snap. [DT, photo]
