Los Feliz: 16 months after former servers Jed and Wyatt Lorenzen first filed their claim against Vermont Restaurant owners Manuel Mesta and Michael Gelzhiser, the suit has finally been settled. It took nine days of trial, but a jury awarded each plaintiff $1000 before rejecting the other claims, which included retaliation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Quote of the story: "After the verdict was read, Gelzhiser -- in reference to the nine-day trial and the size of the damage award -- asked, 'All of this for that?'"
