Notice some fresh plywood on your block? Do let us know. Bonus points and gold stars if you include photos.
1) Los Feliz: Tangier shuttered for good back in December, and now several months later, we have some action in the Hillhurst Avenue space. Last week, a new sign was erected, announcing a Korean BBQ restaurant coming soon. The space itself is (was?) a promising one, but our tipster reports that the place has been totally gutted, so we'll eagerly await to see what blooms in it. [PLYWOOD]
2) Culver City: We took a long look at the renderings for Kay 'n Dave's a month ago, and as you can see above, things have been moving along quickly there. The old Pacifico's sign is finally down, and the exterior is getting its finishing touches as we speak. April is still the word on an arrival date. [PLYWOOD]
3) Fairfax Avenue: Late last week, the Daily Dish shares some hot new details about Fairfax, the new gastropub from going into the old Largo space. The 2500-square-foot has been stripped to the brick (you've gotta love exposed brick), and will seat 150, plus another 30 in a second-floor room. They're hoping for a summertime debut. [LAT]
