The Dish: Good Girl Dinette, Bokado

New, 4 comments

1) Highland Park: It was a rather slow week in terms of new openings, but before we head into the weekend, a few newcomers deserve mention. Up first, Good Girl Dinette is finally slated to debut tonight. Owner/chef Diep Tran—last seen at Blue Hen—will be presenting a "modern take on Vietnamese food." Dinner Tue-Sun, lunch on weekends only. 110 North Avenue 56, Highland Park; (323) 257-8980; website [EaterWire]

2) Studio City: In the shuttered Tommy Ray's space, Bokado has opened, though we're told it's still in the soft-opening phases. It's the new Spanish-inspired restaurant from Frank Leon, the man behind nearby La Loggia. 12345 Ventura Blvd., Studio City; (818) 752-9222 [EaterWire]
