Beverly Hills: Still only two months old, The Cabbage Patch has already made a fairly high-profile addition to its kitchen. While executive chef Samir Mohajer continues to do his thing with the fresh market ingredients, he's brought aboard Roxana Jullapat as his new pastry chef. Jullapat's resume is an impressive one too, boasting two and a half years as the pastry chef at Lucques and AOC, and before that, as a Nancy Silverton disciple at La Brea Bakery. She'll be adding a variety of new baked concoctions to the menu, including Whoopie Pies and "Jam Thumbprint" cookies with house-made preserves.
Also on tap at the Cabbage Patch: Saturday brunch will begin in mid-May, with Jullapat leading the way on the upcoming menu.
