West Hollywood: Now that the Beverly Hills location is in full swing, the original Cristoni on Sunset has shuttered. The WeHo pizzeria is (err, was) the side project of Primo Hospitality's Tony Riviera, and given the high profile investors involved—Kevin Connolly of Entourage and some NBA stars—the place got a fair amount of buzz upon opening last fall.

Now, just eight months or so later, the sequel is apparently more successful, because the original has already called it quits. A tipster on the scene reports that the place has been put under wraps, furniture is stacked, chalkboard menu has been left written and unlike the custom of the last few weeks, there's no more "guy on the street with a light up sign."
