This is the story of Il Forno, a little Italian restaurant exiled to the corner of a Santa Monica mini mall. Several years ago, the eatery lowered prices to accommodate its lunchtime regulars. Now those "power meals" have single-handedly helped keep Il Forno afloat during the recession, and the owners have managed to maintain all 32 employees. Karma can be a wonderful thing. [HuffPo]
