Double Whammy: Cafe Habana to Open in Malibu, Venice

In the midst of a rambling piece on fashion blog nitro:licious, Sean Meenan, the owner of New York City's endlessly jammed Cuban eatery Cafe Habana , drops an absolute bomb: he's planning to open the first West Coast outposts of his empire later this summer in Malibu and Venice. While the Malibu location will house a full-blown Cafe Habana, the Venice locale will feature his slightly more freewheeling Habana Outpost concept, which comes to LA by way of Brooklyn.
