Hollywood: Way back in 2007, we shared Kris Keith and Adolfo Suaya's plan to open Osaka, an "ode to Peru" in the former Chicken Delight space on Hollywood Boulevard. We recently snagged a very preliminary photo, and from the looks of it, the team is still uber delayed (somebody has been slacking on the job--joke). The original projected opening date was slated for '08 and then early '09, but has now been pushed back to the end of this year. Once it starts to come together, the resto will be divided into various rooms and each will have its own theme: plants and vines in one room and plaid and steel in another...hmmm. As if any additional details will be needed, look for a waterfall and koi pond by the entrance.
