Hollywood: Officially opening in roughly two weeks is Jane's House (not to be confused with MyHouse or the upcoming Playhouse), a new restaurant and lounge by first-timers Kimoon Kim and Katie Matthews. Situated in the two-story cottage that used to house Southern restaurant Memphis, the space has been revamped with an attempt to mimic a home setting. The main outside patio functions as a living room, with two intimate private rooms inside, a DJ booth on the balcony, and an upstairs dining area. Jane's House is currently open and serving drinks Friday and Saturday nights, but within the next two weeks the restaurant will open to serve brunch, then shortly after will serve up the full market-driven American menu.
