Plywood Report: The Fifth Amendment Alehouse, Egg Plant, Townhouse, MORE!

Santa Monica: Last week Tasting Table mentioned that Evergreen Tea House had shuttered and was slated to be replaced this summer by The Fifth Amendment Ale House on Broadway in Santa Monica. Though we don't have too many details, we do know the eatery will serve beer and wine. [Tasting Table]

The Valley: In November we noted that izakaya resto Yuta in Studio City had closed after about one year of biz. We now know that it will finally be replaced by a spot called Egg Plant, owned by Setsuko Yasunaga. Also in Valley news, with the closing of the Romano's Macaroni Grill in the Sherman Oaks Galleria comes the newcomer Townhouse Kitchen & Bar. [EaterWire]
